After meeting Dalton we lost touch for a couple of years. So, fast forward to 2019 when I was 22 years old. I had just gotten out of a bad relationship and ended up going to the beach with my mom, sister and niece. I never forgot about Dalton and the whole day we were at the beach I had this feeling to reach out to him. I ended up sending him a Snapchat and he sent one back right away. We talked for the whole day, we were catching up with how our lives were going. He finally asked me if I was 21 and I was like yeah I'm actually 22, that made him happy because he wanted to go to the bar. We made plans for that next weekend to get together, of course I had to pick him up because he doesn't like to drive. That next weekend came and I had to get all dolled up to see him, I told Dalton that my cousin was up and asked him if it was okay for him to come with us. He said it was fine with him, on my way to pick him up I of course got lost because I hadn't been to his house in years. He ended up calling me and I finally reached his house. When he got in my car I was so nervous and had butterflies the whole time I was driving. We caught up on life and I'm sure he made fun of my driving the whole way there. I remember weeks after hanging out he told me he spilled his dip everywhere in my car and was scared that I would get mad and never talk to him
Anyways, we pick up my cousin and drive to the bar. I was really nervous because I wasn’t used to going to the bar but Dalton had this way of making you feel like you belong wherever you go. We all talked and danced most of the night, at one point he started dancing with an older lady and I thought it was so funny and I think he was nervous that I would get jealous but I thought it was hilarious and the older lady loved it. I remember as soon as we walked into the bar everyone knew Dalton and everyone wanted to be around him. He had such a big personality and I'm the shy quiet wallflower that's with him. He never made he feel left out and I can say he definitely brought me out of my shell and comfort zone. After we left the bar I took my cousin back home and Dalton and I sang our hearts out all the way to his house. Every once in awhile I'll hear a song that we used to sing to and it brings me right back to being in my little white Jeep going back to his place. So, we get back to his house and he asks if I want to come in and at first I said no because I had contacts in and I didn’t want to sleep in them. We sat in my car for a good hour just talking about past relationships that ended badly and he told me all kinds of crazy stories and things he got into. He told me that he has never spent this much time talking to someone in the car. I finally told him that I would go inside and of course we end up in his room and we all know what that lead to.
I hope you enjoyed reading the second part of my story! I hope you tune in next week to check out the next part of our story!
